QIDI Plus 5 3D Printer | Large Enclosed Printer for Schools | 320×320×300 mm Print Size
Big prints and full class sets, without the hassle. The QIDI Plus 5 gives you a 320 × 320 × 300 mm print area in an enclosed, filtered printer. It's ideal for schools and makerspaces that want to print parts for a whole class in one go.
- 18% more print space in the same footprint: 320 × 320 × 300 mm fits large single-piece models or a full plate of lesson parts.
- 3rd-gen 65 °C heated chamber: ABS, ASA, nylon and PC print without warping or splitting.
- Hands-free and watched: nozzle-contact auto levelling, 1080p AI camera, filament run-out sensor and power-loss recovery.
- Cleaner air for shared rooms: 3-in-1 filter (G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA, coconut-shell activated carbon).
Product details
Print a whole class set at once
The large bed holds many small parts at the same time. With Smart Skip Objects, if one part on the plate fails you skip just that part and the rest keeps printing.

Precision motion system
X-axis linear rails and wide 9 mm 1.5GT CoreXY belts (the usual size is 6 mm) give smooth, accurate and quiet high-speed printing.

Next-gen high-flow hotend
A ceramic heater reaches 220 °C from cold in about 40 seconds and goes up to 370 °C for engineering filaments.

Print from your phone
Browse ready-made models in the QIDI Maker app and send them to the printer with a tap. Or use QIDI Studio on your computer for your own designs.

3rd-gen 65 °C chamber heating
A powerful chamber heater warms the whole enclosure evenly, so ABS, ASA, nylon and PC layers bond strongly without warping or splitting.

Next-gen auto levelling
A load-cell sensor in the hotend measures the bed by touching it with the nozzle. First layers come out right every time, with nothing to adjust.

Cleaner air in shared rooms
Air circulates through a 3-layer filter cartridge: G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA and coconut-shell activated carbon. That makes it a good fit for classrooms and offices.

Made for the EEMENTOR lessons
Every printed part in our lessons fits, from the sunflower and anemometer to the rain-gauge funnel (104 × 108 × 124 mm, our largest part). Download a lesson's STL file, slice it in QIDI Studio and send it to the printer over Wi-Fi or on a USB stick.

Printer only or Combo?
The Combo includes the QIDI BOX: a 4-slot unit that switches filament colours automatically, dries filament while you print (up to 65 °C) and warns you about tangles or an empty spool. Choose the Combo if you want multi-colour prints or need to keep PETG and nylon dry. You can also add a QIDI BOX later.

Which QIDI printer is right for you?
| Model | Print size | Heated chamber | AI camera & HEPA filter | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Q2C | 270 × 270 × 256 mm | Not heated | Optional | First printer at home; PLA and PETG lesson parts |
| Q2 | 270 × 270 × 256 mm | 65 °C | Yes | Families and classrooms; safest all-rounder; ABS and nylon too |
| Plus 5 | 320 × 320 × 300 mm | 65 °C | Yes | Schools and makerspaces; bigger parts or a full plate of class sets |
| Max 4 | 390 × 390 × 340 mm | 65 °C | Yes | Labs and serious makers; largest prints, fastest speed |
All four are fully enclosed, print PLA and PETG for every EEMENTOR lesson, and work with the QIDI BOX for multi-colour printing.

Frequently asked questions
How much space does the printer need?
The Plus 5 measures 500 × 488 × 558 mm on the outside (shipping box 620 × 630 × 700 mm). Leave some extra room at the back, sides and top so you can change filament easily and the printer stays well ventilated.
Can it print in more than one colour?
Yes, with the QIDI BOX multi-colour unit (included in the Combo). One BOX gives 4 colours; up to four BOXes can be chained for 16 colours or materials.
Which software do I use?
QIDI Studio (free) gives the best results with ready-made profiles. The printer runs Klipper firmware, so OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer also work. It accepts STL, OBJ, 3MF and STEP files.
How do I connect it?
Over Wi-Fi (2.4 or 5 GHz), Ethernet cable, or QIDI Cloud for remote monitoring. You can also print fully offline from a USB stick.
Can it print flexible filament (TPU)?
Yes. TPU with a hardness of 95A is recommended; very soft filaments (below 85A) may print less cleanly. QIDI's wiki has a step-by-step TPU guide.
Do I need the Polar Cooler?
Not for PLA and PETG. The Polar Cooler helps on long prints with a hot chamber (ABS, nylon). Even with it, keep the chamber below about 45 °C when printing PLA.
