Terms of service
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases from, and use of, stem.eementor.co (the "Store"), operated by EEmentor OÜ (registry code 16643220, VAT number EE102571039), Akadeemia tee 7/2-310, 12611 Tallinn, Estonia, email shop@eementor.co ("EEmentor", "we", "us"). By placing an order or using the Store, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Products and use
We sell STEM kits, electronic boards, tools and related learning materials. Our kits are educational products intended for learning and prototyping. They're not toys for unsupervised young children. Products marked with an age range should be used as indicated, and children should be supervised by an adult. Follow the safety instructions, especially when soldering or working with power supplies and batteries.
2. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in the store currency and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
- We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Your payment is charged when you place your order.
- If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
3. Orders and contract
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if a product is unavailable, if we can't deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud.
4. Delivery
Delivery times and costs are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you when you, or someone you name, receive the goods.
5. Right of withdrawal, returns and warranty
Consumers in the EU can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, and have a 2-year legal guarantee for defects. See our Refund Policy for details, exceptions for digital content, and how to return items.
6. Digital content and tutorials
Ebooks, lessons, code samples and other learning materials on the Store are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell or redistribute them without our written permission. Code samples are provided as is, for learning purposes.
7. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account login details safe and for activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you think your account has been used without your permission. Children under 13 may only use an account through a parent or guardian.
8. Projects hub submissions
- When you submit a project, you confirm that you made it, that you have the right to share all photos, code, files and text in it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or include personal data about other people without their permission.
- You keep ownership of your project. You grant EEmentor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, adapt for formatting and clarity, and promote your project on our Store, social media and marketing materials, credited with the name you chose.
- We review every submission and may decline, edit for clarity, or remove any project at our discretion. Publication isn't guaranteed and no payment is owed for submissions.
- You can ask us to remove your published project at any time by emailing shop@eementor.co.
- Projects are shared by makers for inspiration. Follow them at your own risk and always use appropriate safety precautions.
9. Comments and conduct
Don't post unlawful, abusive, misleading or spam content, and don't try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Store. Comments are moderated and we may remove any content that breaks these rules.
10. Intellectual property
The Store's content, including the EEmentor name and logo, design, text, lessons and images, belongs to EEmentor or its licensors and is protected by law. Product names and trademarks of third parties (such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32 and micro:bit) belong to their respective owners.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for damage caused by incorrect assembly, wiring, misuse or modification of products.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. If we can't resolve a complaint together, you can contact the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (www.ttja.ee).
