What it is for
ntfy (say "notify") is the simplest way to get a message from your ESP32 to your phone. The device sends a message to a topic, and the ntfy app shows it as a notification wherever you are.
There is no account to create, and the code is only a few lines. That makes ntfy perfect for alarms, reminders and "your project needs you" messages.
Because topics on the free server are public, choose a long, random topic name and never send private information.
Tips
- Test your topic from a browser before you write any code.
- Add Title, Tags and Priority headers to make notifications stand out.
- Limit how often your device sends messages, so you don't get flooded.
