What it is for
Blynk connects your ESP32 to the internet so you can control it from your phone, wherever you are. You design a dashboard with drag-and-drop widgets, and the ESP32 talks to it through virtual pins.
It also stores data for charts and sends push notifications when something happens, such as post in the mailbox or the end of a wash.
The free plan is enough for all of our Blynk lessons.
Tips
- Follow the first lesson of the Blynk path to set up your first template and device.
- Keep your auth token private: it lets anyone control your device.
- Use BlynkTimer instead of delay() so the connection stays alive.
